A 3D Rendering of a Living Room Design Concept by Helen Shoemark Interior Design

From conversations with clients it seems that the fear of getting it wrong is one of the major reasons why renovation and redecorating projects are put on hold time and time again. Many clients are scared of making costly mistakes whether it is with a wall colour, an investment piece such as a statement chandelier or choosing the correct seating layout which they then have to live with but are never actually happy with. Some of us are lucky enough to be able to visualise how a room will look in our minds, however for many this isn’t a possibility and instead ideas begin to get confused and the person becomes overwhelmed.

With developments in design software interior designers now have the means to present a clear room design to clients before the changes are made, allowing the client to see the potential in their room without having to envisage it. Take for example the above image which is a 3D render of a living room. It allows the clients to see the layout of furniture and therefore the room flow, how lighting will look and affect the feel of the room and decide whether larger investments such as bespoke cabinetry is the right option for them. Presented alongside 2D floor plans and concept boards 3D renders allow a design concept to come to life!

3D rendering is offered as an additional service to my standard design packages. Please enquire if you would like further information.
